Electronic Arts Program *NEW*

A comprehensive curriculum that travels with students from elementary school through high school, teaching them the concepts and techniques of artistic media production.

Students in web design produce their own webpages; the advanced designers work with clients to produce websites. Video students produce a range of work including self-portraiture, public service announcements, and mini-documentaries using digital video editing systems. Each class builds on the last, allowing students to move from a 3rd grade basic animation class all the way to an advanced video production class in high school.

One can sense the excitement in these classrooms as the young producers take the media into their own hands, gaining confidence in their abilities to express themselves creatively. Students who collaborate on projects with local organizations learn how to communicate with clients, giving them a head start in the professional world. Participants in this program work with the latest hardware and software, gaining invaluable computer
literacy.
